Event Listing Policy

Version 2026-09-04 · Read with our Terms of Service and event packages & prices.

This policy applies when you publish a paid public event listing on RCSpotter (Public, Featured, Banner, or Featured + Banner), including Club Business listings that waive the Public fee. Club-only notes are free and are not covered by paid-listing windows.

1. RCSpotter is not the organiser

You are solely responsible for your event, accuracy of the listing, safety, permits, insurance, and visitor communications. RCSpotter does not organise, host, verify, or guarantee any event.

2. Packages (flat prices)

Public — €10 — on the public board up to 90 days before start; normal list order; standard map pin.
Featured — €50 — includes Public; Featured group (soonest first) for up to 90 days; RCSpotter target map marker.
Banner — €85 — includes Public; board up to 180 days; Banner strip last 60 days before start; target marker while Banner is active.
Featured + Banner — €125 — board up to 180 days; Featured for that window; Banner last 90 days; target marker throughout.

One photo is included. Payment is via Stripe when billing is live. Drafts stay free until you publish publicly.

3. Board windows

Public board visibility is counted backwards from your event start date. If you pay earlier than the window, the listing is not on the public board yet. When the window opens, it appears for your package. After the event ends, it leaves the public board. Buying inside a Banner window runs Banner until the event starts (you do not get leftover days after the event).

4. Featured order

Featured means your card sits in the Featured group above normal listings. Inside that group, sooner start dates are listed first — not “whoever paid last.”

5. Reschedule (paid public listings)

Drafts / unpaid: unlimited date changes.
After paid public publish: maximum one reschedule.
New start must be within 60 days of the start date locked at first payment.
Same-calendar-day time changes do not count as the reschedule.
Board / Featured / Banner windows recalculate from the new start. Further moves need platform support.

6. Club Business

Club Business may waive the €10 Public fee about once per calendar month per club, still with the 90-day Public board window. Featured, Banner, and Featured + Banner remain paid. Fair-use limits may be enforced to prevent spam.

7. Content and photos

You must own the rights to text and images you upload. No impersonation of another club. We may remove listings that break the Terms, are unlawful, or clearly abusive.

8. Acceptance

By checking the Event Listing Policy box when publishing a public listing, you confirm you have read this policy and the current package rules on the prices page.
